Yesterday, over 30 people attended the first-ever Armenian conversation classes at AGBU Central Office in New York.

Three facilitators (Hripsime Roupen, Anna Verdiyan, Lucy Hayrabedian) overseen by Artoun Hamalian, AGBU Director of Education, directed the 90-minute session for students at three different levels (Beginner, Immediate & Advanced). The classes accommodate those who are interested in learning both eastern and western Armenian and will continue for six weeks.

Early interest in the classes proved so overwhelming that over 50 individuals were placed on a waiting list for future spots.
