YP Boston Treks to New Hampshire

ypboston03sm.jpg
On September 29, 2007, 13 eager YP Boston hikers put aside their Prada bags and Gucci shoes and laced up their hiking boots to scale Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, New Hampshire; the world's second most hiked mountain.

The weather was custom-made for a hike, as it stayed in the 60's for most of the day without a cloud in the sky and beautiful New England fall foliage all around. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the view from the summit where everyone enjoyed their own home-packed lunch, and bonded on the trials and tribulations of the journey to the top. For a grand total of $3 entry into Monadnock State Park, the trip brought together New England Area Armenians along with 5 visiting students from Armenia completing their diplomacy certificates at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Somerville, MA.
