Organized by the German Armenian Students Association (ASA) HAIK and sponsored by AGBU, over 160 attendees of German and Armenian descent from the Munich community were brought together at the "Adventgemeinde München - Nymphenburg" Community Center for a cultural extravaganza on July 14, 2007.

Emceed by HAIK Munich Representative Armine Babayan, the evening was complete with a full roster of performances by professional German Armenian musicians, the Armenian Dance Group of Munich, and Choir of the Munich Armenian Youth Community. Pieces by prominent Armenian composers were performed, including Aram Khatchaturian, Komitas, Arno Babadjanyan, Eduard Baghdasaryan, Alexander Pirumov, Sayat Nova, and Stepan Lusikyan.

With half of the guests being of German descent, one of the event's main objectives was to educate and build enthusiasm about Armenian culture through music, dance, song, and cuisine.

"The German guests were inspired [by the Armenian culture]," said HAIK Treasurer Stepan Hayrapetyan, "while the Armenian guests felt as though they were in their home country for a few hours."
