Welcome to AGBU Innovation Studios! A project-based learning atmosphere where cutting-edge technology and innovation converges with Armenian culture.
Imagine designing your own musical instrument, bringing architecture to life, delving into the world of robotics and AI and animating a favorite Armenian story with friends in a supportive and inviting environment.
We are proud to foster the development of engaged and solution-oriented youth through a creative curriculum which encourages teens and tweens to be active creators of their identity and culture. Students are motivated to explore their interests and develop projects from concept/ideation to design and production. Final products are featured in comprehensive student portfolios for showcasing to peers and to schools and university applications (other academic and professional audiences).
Mark your calendars for Fall 2024 Sessions!

Absolutely! AGBU Innovation Studios is not limited to science and technology enthusiasts. Our focus is on developing solution-oriented individuals by immersing them in the design thinking process. This program is about the journey, not just the destination. While we do teach specific technical skills, we also ignite creativity and foster interest in various industries. Your child will explore, innovate, and discover their unique path.
All participants build comprehensive portfolios showcasing their work from inception to completion. These portfolios are valuable assets when applying to colleges or internships. Additionally, students have exclusive access to industry professionals and events, further enhancing their college applications and future opportunities.
Students who successfully complete three or more studios may be invited to take part in special projects, gaining hands-on experience. Internship opportunities as well as entrepreneurial courses may also become available, providing a real-world taste of their chosen field.
Armenian culture is seamlessly woven into the curriculum. While we expose students to the latest in STEAM education and design thinking, we also incorporate elements of Armenian culture. This can be through projects that explore Armenian architecture, music, or other cultural facets. Our approach ensures that students connect with their Armenian heritage in a meaningful and contemporary way. We give voice to their ability and interest to create their own Armenian culture/identity.
