Running the largest Armenian non-profit in the world takes efficient management, strategic planning, and the liquidity to administer an annual operating budget to support the many high-quality programs we offer our diverse constituents and beneficiaries. The all-purpose Opportunity Fund allows us to check all the boxes on our annual agenda, retain a cushion of reserves to respond quickly to unforeseen challenges, and take advantage of opportunities that arise throughout the year. 

Around the Clock, Around the World

Annual giving is the driving force behind continuity and progress. Our ability to pivot in times of crisis is made possible, in large part, by the steadfast support of our Opportunity Fund donors. The year 2020 and the crisis ridden period that followed are a case in point. During the COVID 19 pandemic, we were able to offer free virtual programs and events as well as tuition subsidies for schools and relief packages to those who found themselves unemployed.  When war broke out in Artsakh that same year, the Opportunity Fund allowed us to bridge operational gaps while launching an all-out effort to meet humanitarian needs.

In any given year, we can provide youth with opportunities to explore their interests, offer mentorships and industry expertise to young professionals in Armenia looking for a leg up in their careers,  and deliver free medical assistance or social services to those needing extra help.
