Job Description
The AGBU Women Coders Program Associate provides operational and administrative support to the Program Manager and the Program team as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement approach
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new community members, volunteers, and employment partners
- Foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity within the community
- Organize and facilitate events, both online and offline, to strengthen community bonds
- Handle daily correspondence with program participants involving complex issues
- Organize and coordinate logistics of program-related events, online and offline meetings, trainings, etc
- Follow up with the participants' communications on various platforms
- Collaborate with Armenian Virtual College for coordination of Workplace Fundamentals
- Support with data collection and input to the AGBU CRM
- Participate in program application and selection process, including selection of courses, instructors, etc
- Implement other project-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management
- If needed participate in the trainings to monitor attendance and engagement
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports
Requirements- Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Armenian; fluency in English
- Proven ability to identify, recruit, and onboard community members and external partners (such as employers or program collaborators)
- Experience organizing and coordinating both online and in-person events
- Comfortable handling complex participant communications with empathy and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging community environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency with digital communication tools (e.g., Zoom, email platforms, social media) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to assist with report preparation and program tracking
- Comfortable using and supporting online learning platforms or collaborating with educational institutions
