AGBU Statement on Community Activities Regarding COVID-19
We understand that everyone is concerned regarding this situation on the Coronavirus, specifically COVID-19. We take this seriously and agree we should all maintain a calm vigilance during this time.
AGBU has asked all its Districts, Chapters and Committees to refer to their local government guidelines on how to proceed with activities in the near future. We cannot predict the path of the current situation but have asked that any premises owned, rented or used by AGBU programs and committees is kept clean and disinfected regularly.
Until there is further information, we have recommended that activities gathering elderly members of our community be suspended or postponed. Summer programs will continue as scheduled until further notice. However, we advise participants to look into options for travel insurance.
