The AGBU Young Professionals of Los Angeles (YPLA), the leading professional networking group for young Armenians in Los Angeles, carries out a number of cultural, professional, and social events each year. YPLA completed its successful 2010 year with their inaugural New Year's Eve event on Friday, December 31 at the Angeleno Hotel near Westwood. More than 100 young professionals gathered over cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and a dynamic DJ, as well as sharing a midnight champagne toast at the WEST Restaurant and Lounge, which boasts a 17th-floor panoramic view of Los Angeles.
As event planning and organization is well underway for 2011, the AGBU Young Professionals will yet again offer a diverse array of events to enlighten, engage, and satisfy. Newly elected AGBU YPLA Chairman Yeghig Keshishian states, "2011 is officially off to a strong start. With our New Year's event now behind us, the YPLA Committee is focused intently on a series of professional, cultural, and philanthropic events for the upcoming year."
