Guests enjoying an early holiday brunch hosted by the New England District.
On December 12, 2010, over 60 people gathered at the AGBU Center in Watertown, Massachusetts for a holiday brunch hosted by the New England District. Chairman Souren Maserejian welcomed guests to the first annual brunch, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. He extended his gratitude and appreciation to all New England District committee members and then invited everyone to enjoy a delicious meal which consisted of a traditional Armenian breakfast. The brunch included traditional Armenian dishes, including scrambled eggs with soujouk, a spicy Armenian sausage, along with a hot bowl of foole, a tasty breakfast-type chili, homemade tel-baneer (Armenian string cheese), and mamoonyeh, a warm, sweet, cream of wheat. AGBU’s New England Committee expressed their thanks and appreciation to the community for their support in making this an unforgettable and successful event.
