Nareg Hartounian's mission to liberate the arts in Armenia
On Tuesday, July 11, AGBU’s New York summer interns were treated to an exclusive meeting with Andrew Goldberg, writer and director of the breakthrough documentary The Armenian Genocide, at the AGBU Central Office in New York City.
Goldberg gave the interns the background story in making the documentary, highlighting the difficulties that he faced during filming and in post-production. He ended his visit by answering lingering questions about the film, the current status of genocide recognition, and the future obstacles that will face Armenians.
