From Europe to Latin America, AGBU Communities Thrive

AGBU Members, Districts and Chapters worldwide continue to honor the Armenian General Benevolent Union’s milestone 100-year anniversary with artistic and cultural performances such as concerts, galas and theatrical productions. Tributary celebrations have taken place in Bulgaria, Canada, France, Italy, Latin America and the United States. As the end of the landmark year draws closer, finale event planning is underway in Armenia, while the 84th Biennial General Assembly and Centennial Celebration has just taken place in Paris.

Established in 1906, AGBU is the world’s largest non-profit Armenian organization. Headquartered in New York City with an annual budget of $34 million, AGBU preserves and promotes the Armenian identity and heritage through educational, cultural and humanitarian programs, annually serving some 400,000 Armenians in over 37 countries.
