AGBU Young Professionals of Lyon Rhône-Alpes Forges New Local Partnership

Over 50 guests gather for an interactive discussion organized by the AGBU Young Professionals of Lyon Rhône-Alpes in partnership with Only Lyon, a local, city-wide initiative.
Networking Event Marks Beginning of Collaboration with City’s “Only Lyon” Initiative
A few years ago, Lyon launched its “Only Lyon” initiative, becoming the first city in France to create a strategic campaign that draws entrepreneurs, students and tourists to the region. Now, the AGBU Young Professionals of Lyon Rhône-Alpes (YP Lyon Rhône-Alpes) is developing a partnership with the group, building on the recent success of their joint networking event.
Co-sponsored with the municipality, the lecture drew local guests to Tour Oxygène, a high-rise in the heart of the business district. The evening was hosted in the building’s Only Lyon Skyroom, a space that is open exclusively to the campaign’s private partners. Guest speaker Jérôme Fualdes, director of Société OREOS, a human resources consulting firm, led the interactive discussion, focusing on the best practices for contract negotiations, customer relationships and public speaking.
The young professionals had the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and expand their networks. Gregory Gazarian, the YP Lyon Rhône-Alpes Chair, commented, “This event was a wonderful way for our members to discover new approaches to their careers and businesses. It was also a great start to what we hope will be an ongoing relationship with Only Lyon, which will allow us to invest further in our community.”
