AGBU Lebanon Hosts Annual Armenian Traditional Christmas Bazaar

The holiday season has arrived and AGBU Lebanon ushered it in with their Annual Armenian Traditional Christmas Bazaar. The three-day event, organized by the AGBU Lebanon Ladies Auxiliary, featured stand after stand of artisanal food and crafts that drew hundreds to the AGBU Demirdjian Center in Dbayeh.

Special guest Karen Ghrawi, who was crowned Miss Lebanon 2013, was there to cut the ribbon and officially inaugurate the weekend. For the next two days, guests enjoyed performances by the AGBU Lebanon Schools’ Choir, a talent show, book signings, children’s story readings and cooking demonstrations.

All proceeds from the bazaar support the three AGBU schools in Lebanon and fund student scholarships.
