Over 250 music aficionados gathered at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in New York to celebrate the next generation of Armenian talent at the 11th AGBU Performing Artists in Concert.
At the close of this summer’s camp season, AGBU Camp Nubar deemed 2022 as one for the books — coming back in full swing with three full sessions to accommodate over 200 campers from across the globe.
Recognizing the sensitive issues at stake and the divisive climate both internally and externally, AGBU leadership repeatedly called for unity and resilience as key to a sustainable independent Armenia.
"Reflecting on her life, Baldryan is certain that overcoming each obstacle that came her way has made her the person she is today—a strong woman who stands on her own two feet, confident that her innate power is key to self-realization."
"A rising star couldn’t ask for a better confidence and resume builder, and AGBU NYSEC has really looked out for these talented individuals in an exemplary way."
"Education is, by far, my priority. It’s the single, greatest enabler for any person in the Diaspora, but also in Armenia. The greatest gift we can give the next generation is allowing them to learn and flourish."
