This lecture series will explore efforts to identify and recover Armenian art looted during the Armenian Genocide, drawing parallels with Nazi-looted art and restitution of colonial-era art.
The program will highlight UCLA’s Armenian Genocide Looted Art (AGLA) Research Project, an initiative bringing together law & art students to locate Armenian cultural objects in museums & institutions, document their provenance, & advance restitution efforts.
