Since our founding in 1906, AGBU’s operations and growth have been supported by a membership base spanning the globe. Anyone who subscribes to the AGBU mission and its core values is welcome to join the AGBU family, either as a donor, volunteer, an alumni of one or more of our various programs, even as an expert or specialist serving in an advisory capacity.
You can pledge your commitment and become a member of AGBU by submitting an annual membership contribution or donating to the general, unrestricted AGBU Opportunity Fund, which helps fund our annual operational budget. This entitles you to such benefits as invitations to special meetings and events as well as the biennial AGBU General Assembly. For information on eligibility for voting membership, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.
We rely on the commitment of our members to continue our important work around the world.
As a member of AGBU, you are part of a network of like-minded individuals who believe in promoting the Armenian heritage and culture and fulfilling the promise of a thriving homeland and its Diaspora.
All members of AGBU are global members. However, in locations where Chapters collect membership fees (Europe, Middle East, South America, Australia), individuals may pay membership fees directly to their Chapter in local currency. In these instances you are a local member of a Chapter as well.
