    About Our Cause Our Lineup

    Welcome to the Hoedown

    YP Houston Hoedown is a three-day social gathering of Armenian young professionals from across North America. The weekend will consist of ten (10) unique events designed to create new friendships in a fun atmosphere while supporting an important cause.

    Hosted by the Young Professionals of Houston, we want to bring everyone together and experience the best of Texas once again in March 2025.

    Grab your Stetsons and giddy up! RODEOHOUSTON is a world-renowned Texas tradition, boasting the largest livestock exhibition, rodeo, and carnival in the world.

    This tournament-style championship allows men and women to compete in the sports of bareback riding, tie-down rowing, team roping, steer wrestling, barrel racing, bull riding, chuckwagon racing, mutton bustin’, and so much more!

    Following the day's competitions is a country concert for all to enjoy.

    Our Cause

     

    AGBU Global Relief Fund

    Donations made through AGBU YP Houston Hoedown directly to AGBU relief efforts on Armenian soil ranging from food security outreach, mental health & medical aid at our AGBU polyclinic in Yerevan, and job training and placement. To date, AGBU assistance has reached tens of thousands of forcibly displaced Armenians.
