The Armenian General Benevolent Union was established in 1906 and is the world’s largest non-profit organization devoted to preserving and promoting the Armenian identity and heritage through educational, cultural, and humanitarian programs. The Activities Coordinator is a paid temporary full-time position that will begin on June 12, 2022 and end on August 6, 2022. This position requires the Activities Coordinator to live in the NYU dorms with the summer interns so that GLP staff will always be available for the interns and make them feel safe and comfortable during the program. The Activities Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact to the interns and will report to the Program Associate. The main responsibility areas will be community building, dorm supervision and guidance, and event management.
