Determined to showcase the work of talented artists of Armenian descent, AGBU PAD established the Armenians in Film series in 2015 to promote those who have successfully ventured into the world of film.
Giving filmmakers an opportunity to present their works at the Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York City, Americaโ€s pre-eminent film presentation institution, is just another step AGBU PAD is taking to help these artists take important strides in their careers. This series has featured short films by filmmakers whose works have been screened at some of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, such as TIFF, Cannes Film Festival, Sunset Film Festival, Pomegranate Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, among others. PAD provides generations of Armenian filmmakers the chance to establish connections and future collaborations, receive invaluable feedback on their work, and gives the New York City artistic community a glimpse into what they are achieving.
