Education

AGBU supports multiple weekend and day schools throughout the world offering both Armenian curricula and high standards of local academics. In addition, we provide countless after school programs across the globe including our newest global virtual meet-ups Armat. In Armenia, we support three AGBU Children's Centers, the Interschool Chess Tournament and TUMOxAGBU in Artsakh. Finally, our virtual classroom offerings ensure Armenian education is accessible to all. 

We offer a wealth of resources from Armenian language and history to contemporary culture through a mix of traditional and digital platforms.  The AGBU Nubar Library maintains a tremendous archive of 19th and 20th century resources and works to disseminate important information. Leveraging new technology, our signature ebooks and apps, Armenian Virtual College courses, Artsakh heritage pages and WebTalks provide instant access to a vast repository of content. 

AGBU offers a vast array of scholarship opportunities to students internationally. We also fund research grants for individuals and institutions in various fields of Armenian studies. In Armenia, we provide substantial support to the country’s universities, namely the American University of Armenia (AUA), Yerevan State University (YSU), and the French University in Armenia (UFAR). 

Providing youth with opportunities in which to discover their talents and cut their own path, AGBU nurtures each generation to grow into confident and competent community leaders. Our scouts, mentorships and leadership development programs foster the Armenian spirit, lifelong relationships, and inspire action to give back to their communities and the Armenian Nation.
