The AGBU Yerevan Summer Internship Program (YSIP) offers university and graduate students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to obtain valuable, hands-on work experience while immersed in a full schedule of educational, cultural and social activities in Armenia’s vibrant capital.
Since it was established in 2007, YSIP has placed interns in Armenia’s leading institutions in the fields of business, government, law, media, medicine, and social and economic development. These organizations include the American University of Armenia, Arabkir Children’s Hospital, ArmNews TV, HSBC Bank, the Ministry of the Diaspora, the United Nations Development Program, and many others.
Students also enjoy classes, networking events, and country-wide tours that allow them to actively engage in daily life in Armenia. Weekly language and folk dance courses are taught by first-class instructors. Regular meetings with business leaders, dignitaries, and government officials provide critical insights into the nation’s ever-evolving cultural, economic and political spheres. Moreover, organized trips to historical landmarks, including the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Garni Temple, the Geghard Monastery, as well as excursions to Lake Sevan, Mt. Aragats and a three-day journey to Karabakh, create strong links between the students and their ancestral homeland.
The Yerevan Summer Internship Program is open to international university students ages 19-26. For more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
