Ultrasound Training Center

The AGBU Ultrasound Center was founded in 1996 through a partnership with the Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute located in Philadelphia, PA. In 2002, AGBU and Jefferson University Hospital forged a partnership with Yerevan State Medical University, opening a new ultrasound training and research center there. Since its inception, the AGBU Ultrasound Center has helped distribute over 20 ultrasound machines to hospitals throughout Armenia, Karabakh and the predominantly Armenian-inhabited region of Javakh in the neighboring Republic of Georgia.
