    Programs in Armenia

    Empowering and Educating

With a view on both the short and long-term socio-economic needs of the people of Armenia, AGBU has created opportunities that embrace greater inclusivity, upward mobility and individual success. These strategic programs are envisioned to ultimately create a sustainable, self-sufficient economy from which the greater society can prosper.

Our commitment to uplift Armenian lives has deepened over the last century, evolving and expanding with changing times. When Armenia became independent in 1991, AGBU established the American University of Armenia and has since launched a variety of signature education and skill building programs to advance men, women and children across the country.

    Creating Opportunities for Success

AGBU programs have a unique advantage: a Diaspora connection. Our vast global network is fertile ground for tapping mentors, advisors and potential investors in Armenia’s emerging small business sector as well as growth industries such as agriculture, high tech and tourism.
