The AREV Film Series is the premiere initiative of the newly-established Kazarian AGBU Chicago Armenian Humanities Festival, made possible through the generosity of the late AGBU Chicago Board member Mary Kazarian, whose bequest remains a lasting legacy to her hometown and deep personal commitment to her Armenian heritage.
The Reverse Side of the Medal, directed by Anna Maxim, is a sports drama that chronicles the extraordinary life and career of world weightlifting champion, Nazik Avdalyan.
