We are delighted to present our accomplished panelists Michael Ayjian, Co-founder and executive producer of 7 Wonders Cinema; Anaida Arakelian, a tech consulting industry specialist; Greg Ekchian, PhD, co-founder and CEO of Stratagen Bio. The panel discussion will be moderated by Kristie Keleshian, Reporter, CBS News New York.
Kristie Keleshian is a broadcast journalist at CBS News New York and 1010WINS. She’s had the honor of telling stories within the tri-state area for nearly a decade across several stations since graduating from Montclair State University in 2017. While in school, she interned at Dateline NBC, Sesame Workshop, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and many more. Keleshian also has a passion for acting, having starred in shows including Robert De Niro’s Zero Day, Law & Order: Organized Crime, Blue Bloods, and Dr. Death as an on-air reporter. An amateur puppeteer, she also performs as Quasi and Pseudo Cado (both halves of an avocado puppet she made) on her web series JersEats where they explore New Jersey diners! She’s excited and honored to work with AGBU in its partnership with GLP and YPGNY to moderate this year’s panel.
Michael Ayjian is the co-founder and executive producer of 7 Wonders Cinema, an Emmy-winning video agency specializing in branded content, podcasts, and commercials. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, his company has led campaigns for clients like Nasdaq, Comcast, Disney, and Hunter Fan Company.He is actively involved in the Armenian community attending fundraisers, supporting cultural initiatives, and attending church. Though he is a 4th generation American, Michael is proud to be 100% Armenian.
Anaida Arakelian is a technology consulting specialist known for leading large-scale transformation projects for global companies. With expertise in solution architecture, custom application development, and platform implementation, she has built an international career at Accenture, working in Moscow, Berlin, and New York. She holds degrees in Applied Economics and Statistics, and Technology and Innovation Management. Beyond her professional achievements, Anaida is a passionate advocate for Armenian culture and issues. She co-founded Accenture’s Armenian Community, connecting over 140 employees worldwide, and remains active in the broader diaspora through her involvement with the Armenian Club in Russia, the AGBU Global Leadership Program (2017), and AGBU Young Professionals in Germany.
Greg Ekchian, PhD, is an entrepreneur, engineer, and innovator. He has spent his career at the interface of academic research and life science start-ups. Greg is currently the co-founder and CEO of Stratagen Bio, where they are transforming MRI into an objective, quantitative, and biological measurement platform, starting with prostate cancer. He was previously awarded the Blavatnik Fellowship in Life Science Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School and the Kavanaugh Translational Innovation Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Greg was also named to MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35 in 2020. He holds a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and an MEng and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
