AGBU’s partnership with the Holy See of Etchmiadzin ensures that our common spiritual heritage thrives for future generations. AGBU donors have been integral in the realization of building and renovating numerous chapels, seminaries and centers in Armenia, including funding the erection of St. Gregory the Illuminator Church, the largest Armenian church in the world.
In addition to buiding and renovating religious establishments, AGBU and the Holy See of Etchmiadzin administer the St. Nerses Hospital as well as three Children’s Centers and Senior Dining Centers (Soup Kitchens) in the Nork, Malatya and Arapkir suburbs of Yerevan. AGBU also provides financial assistance to the Holy See for various programs including the local TV studio, the purchase and distribution of textbooks for educational initiatives and various religious programs.
